Empowering Communities, Protecting Rights, Shaping Futures

Established in 1993-94, CCWD operates across villages and slums in Bhubaneswar, as well as flood-affected and tribal regions in Cuttack, Gajapati, Kandhamal, and Ganjam districts. Focused on child protection, education, and community empowerment, the organization has helped vulnerable children access education, including dropouts, child laborers, and orphans. It has also worked to secure rights and justice for unorganized workers and improve the livelihoods of farmers through income enhancement initiatives. With a commitment to transparency and sustainable development, CCWD continues to transform lives across Odisha’s most marginalized communities.

Our Vision

We envision a society free from poverty, child exploitation, and gender discrimination. We believe these social evils can be eradicated through participatory action that empowers communities to take charge of their development. Our efforts focus on building a foundation where equality, dignity, and opportunity are accessible to all, especially to the marginalized and vulnerable groups.

Our ongoing work

We Are At The Fourfront!

CCWD has been at the forefront of social transformation since its inception. With a dedicated team of highly spirited social workers, we have made significant strides in advocating for child rights across 22 districts in Odisha and implementing impactful initiatives to support women and children in need.
